Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Contract Position
Location: Neptune, NJ
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours/Week: 36
Weekends/Holidays: As needed
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment. The RRT will provide respiratory care therapy, perform ventilator and intubation support, and contribute to patient education and care planning.
Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy and supportive equipment to patients with cardiopulmonary issues.
Assist with intubations and manage ventilators.
Assess patient needs and coordinate with the care team.
Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory conditions and treatments.
Accurately document all care and education provided.
Maintain professional standards and follow facility protocols.
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Current NJ Respiratory Care License
Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications
Strong teamwork, adaptability, and patient-focused care
