Position Title: RN Labor & Delivery
Location: Cooperstown, NY 13326
Job Type: Contract | Local 
pay rate: $55 - 60$/hr

Required: RN license, CPR/BLS

Job Summary:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to women and newborns across multiple counties in Central New York.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including certified nurse midwives, board-certified obstetricians, OR technicians, lactation consultants, anesthesia providers, and support staff.
• Participate in approximately 1,000 annual deliveries, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the birthing experience.
• Uphold standards that contributed to our 2022 network award for exceptional patient experience and likelihood to recommend.
• Complete a customized six-month training program, tailored to individual learning needs and skill development.
• Engage in ongoing professional development with support from a dedicated unit practice educator.
• Maintain annual competencies and contribute to a culture of lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Requirements:

• Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Graduation from an accredited RN program.
• CPR/BLS certification (required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
