Summary: A government-affiliated organization is seeking an IT Program Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple, interrelated IT projects. This role is part of the IT PMO and focuses on strategic planning, high-level execution, and cross-functional leadership. The Program Manager will align IT deliverables with organizational goals while ensuring consistency across projects that may include cloud adoption, data security, and enterprise platform implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage a portfolio of complex IT projects under a unified program.
Define program-wide strategy, priorities, dependencies, and integration points.
Interface with executives and business stakeholders for alignment and reporting.
Manage resource allocation, budgets, and performance across multiple project teams.
Mitigate risks and resolve escalated issues across projects.
Develop program-level documentation and deliverables, including roadmaps and KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills:
7+ years of experience managing complex programs or portfolios in IT.
PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
Strong communication, budgeting, and leadership skills.
Government or regulated industry experience is desirable.
