Position Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide acute care services in a fast-paced inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in airway management, mechanical ventilation, and emergent respiratory interventions, particularly in a hospital environment using EPIC EMR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in ICU, ER, med/surg, and step-down units

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and manage ventilators and oxygen therapy

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

• Accurately document procedures and patient responses using EPIC

• Respond to codes and emergent respiratory situations in a timely, efficient manner

Requirements:

• Certifications/Licensure:

  • Active South Carolina RRT license (required)

  • BLS certification (required)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience

  • Recent acute care experience strongly preferred

Floating Policy:

Staff must be willing to float to other units or campuses within the system as needed, provided they are qualified and have demonstrated competencies for assigned roles.
