Seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift assignment in a high-acuity children's hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have solid pediatric respiratory care experience and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting.
Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric and neonatal patients in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
Perform ventilator management, aerosol therapy, oxygen administration, airway clearance techniques, and blood gas analysis
Respond to emergency calls such as codes, rapid responses, and intubation support
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
Accurately document treatments and assessments in Epic EMR
License: Active South Carolina RRT license – must be in hand at time of application
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) preferred
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
Experience:
Pediatric respiratory care required
Previous work in a children’s hospital strongly preferred
EMR: Epic experience preferred
