Schedule Details:

  • Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

  • Week 2: Saturday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

  • Off: Monday and Tuesday every other weekend

  • 30-minute meal breaks included


Position Overview:

Seeking a CT Technologist with strong diagnostic and trauma CT experience to join a community hospital imaging department. This role requires flexibility and expertise in handling both emergency and routine imaging. The position is not open to prior permanent staff and welcomes first-time travelers.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate Philips CT scanner located in the ER

  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic CT procedures including ELVO/Stroke, CTA Head/Neck, Aorta, GI Bleeds, Run-offs, PEs, and standard Head/Neck/Spine/Abdomen/Extremity exams

  • Administer and prepare contrast media safely

  • Collaborate with vRad for radiology readings

  • Document procedures and patient data accurately in MediTech and PACS

  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines


Requirements:

  • Minimum Experience: 1 year in a community hospital setting

  • Certifications:

    • ARRT (R)

    • ARRT (CT)

    • BLS (Basic Life Support)

    • Rhode Island State Radiologic License

  • Experience in:

    • Adult acute and outpatient care

    • Emergency/Trauma CT

    • CTA and contrast imaging procedures

    • ICU and musculoskeletal imaging

    • Cervical, Lumbar, and Thoracic scans
