Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Duration: 13 weeks contract (Extendable)
Work Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift Timing: 5x8 Days — 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Pay:

• Travel rate: $4,300 weekly (includes stipend)
• Local rate: $3,900 weekly

Requirements:

• Valid New York State license/registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• ARRT (N) or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine or board eligibility
• CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a clinical Nuclear Medicine role preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and Synapse PACS systems is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under general supervision
• Use proper radiation safety practices while handling radiopharmaceuticals and operating equipment
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging systems including Siemens EVOSPECT and Phillips Forte cameras
• Maintain NMIS in the hot lab for tracking and quality assurance
• Register patients and document clinical data in EPIC EMR
• Store and transmit imaging results using Synapse PACS
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout diagnostic procedures
• Provide support, guidance, and training to junior technologists as assigned
• Ensure compliance with department policies, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards
