Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Community)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Type: Contract
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (may require earlier start)
Pay Rate: $58 to $61 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our community healthcare team. Under general supervision, you will perform routine diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and may take on responsibilities for training and leading other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Assist in training and guiding other employees when needed.
Utilize medical software systems for patient registration, records, and image management.
Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards in nuclear medicine practices.
Qualifications:
Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license/registration in New York State.
Certification from ARRT or CNMT in Nuclear Medicine, or board-eligible status.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of 1 year experience in the field required.
Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Equipment Experience:
Siemens EVOSPECT cameras
Phillips Forte camera
Nuclear Medicine Information System (NMIS) in hotlab
EPIC for patient registration and medical records management
Synapse PACS for image archiving and communication
