Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer to join a high-volume cardiac imaging team. This position requires a candidate with a minimum of 3 years' experience in echocardiography, capable of handling a fast-paced environment scanning both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Experience: 3 years in Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonography

  • Certifications Required: BLS and RDCS (Adult)

  • Preferred Certifications: RDCS – Pediatric

  • First-Time Travelers Accepted: No

  • Weekend Requirement: As needed per department

  • On-Call Requirement: Occasional call may be required

  • Floating: Yes, within scope. No floating to sister facilities

  • Licensure: Pending license accepted

  • RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

  • Guaranteed Hours: Up to 3 shift cancellations allowed per assignment without penalty. On-call hours do not apply to guaranteed hours.

Daily Operations:

  • Department Volume: 75–100 echo scans per day (combined inpatient/outpatient)

  • Shift Time: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Work Setting: Inpatient and Emergency Room required

  • Preferred Work Settings: Outpatient, teaching hospital, NICU, PICU, neonate

  • General Skills: Portables and Syngo required; IV starts, PACS, and biopsies preferred

  • Procedure Experience Required:

    • 3D Echo

    • Bubble Study

    • Contrast Agents

    • M-Mode

    • Pharmacologic Stress Echos

    • RIT/RVOT

    • TEE

    • Treadmill Stress Echos

Equipment Experience:

  • Preferred: Siemens and Philips
