RN – Labor and Delivery - RN25-25081

Job Title: RN – Labor and Delivery
Duration: 17 weeks contract (Extendable)
Work Location: Syracuse, NY 13215
Shift Timing: Day/Eve/Night Shift available| 3 days/week (36 hours/week) | 12-hour shifts
Schedule: Includes weekends as scheduled

Pay:

• Travel Rate: $67/hr.
• Local Rate: $58.20/hr.

REQUIREMENT: NY RN license, BLS

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent L&D experience (within the past 2 years)
• Valid New York State RN license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Ability to circulate and scrub C-sections
• Experience with postpartum and nursery care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must not have any suspended/investigated licenses or prior professional liability claims
• Must pass health clearance, background check, and drug screening
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Experience in Level 1 trauma center preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
• Circulate and scrub during C-section deliveries
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor maternal-fetal health during labor
• Deliver postnatal care and newborn assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation using EMR (EPIC preferred)
