Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Wayne, NJ

Payrate: $1,125/weekly - $1,200/weekly
Duration: 3 Months (with potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Part-time considered)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a skilled rehabilitation team in Wayne, NJ. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in delivering treatment plans designed to restore mobility, improve function, and enhance quality of life for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy treatments as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, coordination, gait training, and muscle reeducation
• Accurately observe, document, and report patient responses and progress
• Maintain detailed and timely treatment records and progress notes
• Ensure safe and effective use of therapy equipment and techniques
• Collaborate with residents and care teams to support rehab goals

Qualifications:

• Active PTA license in the state of New Jersey
• Knowledge of physical therapy procedures and equipment
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Team-oriented, compassionate, and patient-focused
