Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Duration: 13 weeks contract (Extendable)
Work Location: Hyannis, MA
Shift Timing: 40 hours/week, may include shifts from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM; every other weekend required

Pay:

• Travel rate: $3,000 weekly (includes stipend)
• Local rate: $2,500 weekly

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT (must be registered within 1 year of hire)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the State of Massachusetts
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation under the direction of the Senior Manager and Chief Technologist
• Set up imaging equipment and prepare patients for procedures
• Select and apply appropriate transducers and imaging techniques based on the clinical data provided
• Position and immobilize patients to ensure optimal views for the requested examination
• Ensure patient comfort, explain procedures, and reduce patient anxiety
• Evaluate images for technical quality and proper labeling
• Assist physicians with special procedures including biopsies
• Maintain accurate patient records, radiology logs, and supply inventories
• Comply with hospital infection control, safety standards, and all relevant policies
• Participate in continuing education and meet credentialing requirements
