Weekly Hours: 55–82.5 hours (Full-Time with Overtime Opportunities)
Pay Rate: $35/hour
A dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is needed to support residents in an assisted living and retirement community in Lewisburg, PA. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving functional mobility, strength, and overall quality of life for older adults in a supportive care setting.
Carry out treatment plans as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Assist residents with exercises, therapeutic activities, and mobility training
Document patient progress, treatment responses, and functional outcomes accurately
Contribute to reassessments and adjustments in care plans as needed
Educate residents and caregivers on home-based exercises and mobility safety
Ensure all therapy sessions are adapted to individual needs and conducted safely
Collaborate and communicate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families
Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active PTA license in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
Current CPR certification
Prior experience in assisted living or geriatric care preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills
Strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
