Job Title: Travel Radiologic Technologist
Location: Hyannis, MA
Pay Rate: $76.63 per hour | $2,873.50 per week
Position Type: Contract | Hospital-Based
Schedule: 40 hours per week; variable shifts may include:

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Every other weekend required.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Radiologic Technologist to join a hospital-based diagnostic imaging team in Hyannis, MA. The technologist will perform radiographic and limited ultrasound procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic and limited ultrasound procedures as ordered

  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams using appropriate techniques

  • Select and adjust imaging parameters to ensure optimal image quality

  • Verify proper identification, labeling, and documentation of images

  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns

  • Assist physicians with specialized procedures, including ultrasound-guided interventions

  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; coordinate repairs when necessary

  • Follow hospital safety and infection control policies at all times

  • Provide clinical instruction and support as needed for educational programs

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • ARRT certified or registry eligible

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Massachusetts

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 3 months of hire)

  • ARRT registration (required within 1 year of hire)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a clinical environment
