Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours/Week: 34.5
Shifts/Week: 3 (11.5-hour shifts)
Rotating weekends and holidays required
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery to provide exceptional maternal and newborn care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate is committed, experienced, and ready to contribute to a dynamic and supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
Monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor and delivery
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures
Administer medications including conscious sedation as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document nursing care accurately and timely
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Maternal & Child Health or Labor & Delivery unit
Skilled in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation
Required Certifications & Licenses:
Active New York State RN License (verified via primary source)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
