Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (Night Shift)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Pay Rate: $2,803.50/Weekly | $81.26/Hourly
Assignment Type: 13-Week Travel Contract
Schedule: 36 hours/week | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend & rotating holidays
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a high-performing clinical team at a leading acute care facility in Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity for an RN with at least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience to take on a travel contract in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care through comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses in accordance with facility protocols.

  • Perform own phlebotomy and IV insertions as part of routine care delivery.

  • Accurately document patient progress and care plans using hospital information systems.

  • Act as a resource for patient care, orientation, and mentoring for ancillary staff.

  • Support discharge planning and interdisciplinary communication for care continuity.

  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and Patient Care Assessment Committee (PCAC) initiatives.

  • Comply with hospital safety standards and confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Massachusetts

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

  • Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience in an acute care setting

  • Proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy

  • BLS certification (required)

  • Must pass facility-specific Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams prior to start

  • Must complete RN Residency & Transition program within 3 months of start

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN degree

  • ACLS certification

  • Recent experience caring for cardiac patients

  • Telemetry, Med/Surg, or Chemotherapy certification

  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy training or practicum experience

  • Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
