Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)
Location: Bronx, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Pay Rate: $86/hour and $2,967/Weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, family-centered care to patients in active labor through postpartum

• Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vitals, and labor progression using electronic fetal monitoring

• Administer medications, including conscious sedation, and manage IV therapies

• Assist with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries

• Perform IV insertions, blood draws, and manage pre/post-procedure care

• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal staff

• Maintain infection control practices and prioritize patient safety

• Provide patient education and emotional support throughout the labor and delivery process

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience in an acute care hospital

• Proficient in maternal-child nursing, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation

• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, emotionally intense environment

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills

Required Certifications:

• Active New York State RN License (primary source verified)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – American Heart Association

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
