Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Cumming, GA

Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Duration: 13-week contract

Rate: $1890 weekly

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract position in a high-acuity maternity unit. This role requires strong clinical expertise in fetal monitoring, emergency interventions, and maternal care to ensure safe childbirth experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments during labor and delivery
Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions as needed
Perform fetal heart monitoring and respond to complications swiftly
Support newborn stabilization and postpartum care
Utilize Cerner EMR for real-time documentation
Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ACLS certification for advanced life support
Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
AWOHNN certification for perinatal care standards
Proficiency in Cerner EMR
