Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team in Waller, TX. The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing audiometric testing and general medical assistant duties in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform audiometric/hearing tests using the Shoebox audiometry program for a large client population.

  • Accurately record test results and enter data into the facility's electronic medical records (EMR) system.

  • Support clinic operations during testing downtimes, including assisting with exams, treatments, patient education, and general clinical tasks.

  • Conduct nursing assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation practices.

  • Provide compassionate care to a diverse, multilingual patient population.

Requirements:

  • Active certification as a Medical Assistant through AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NAHP.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

  • 2–4 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Ability to use a 10-key keypad by touch.

  • Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus.

  • CAOHC certification (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation) is a plus but not required.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working with a high patient volume and multilingual populations.
