Shift: Days – 5x8s (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM)
Call: Every 3rd weekend (Saturday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM), 90-minute response time
Call coverage is optional depending on the candidate's preference
Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts per assignment without penalty
(On-call hours not included in guaranteed time)
We are seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist with RVT certification to join our imaging team. This role requires proficiency in a wide range of diagnostic sonographic procedures including abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, breast, vascular imaging, and ultrasound-guided interventional procedures. You will work in a 2-room ultrasound unit within a supportive clinical environment.
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in:
General Sonography: Abdomen, breast, small parts, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, spleen, pancreas
OB/GYN: All trimesters, AFI, fetal anatomy survey, placenta previa
Vascular Imaging: Aorta, carotid, venous duplex, lower extremities, color flow
Interventional Procedures: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, US-guided biopsies/FNA
Neonatal: Abdomen, pelvis, renal, bladder, spine
Small Parts: Testicles/scrotum, thyroid, breast ultrasound/cyst aspiration
Operate Philips ultrasound equipment and utilize PACS for image archiving
Collaborate with providers for procedural planning and real-time guidance
Follow infection control and isolation precaution protocols
Document in Epic electronic medical record system
Certifications Required:
ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience
First-time travelers welcome
Experience in adult, ER, ICU, pediatrics, high-risk OB, and portables preferred
Epic EMR experience is preferred
