Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Cumming, GA

Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Duration: 13-week contract

Rate: $1890 weekly

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract position in a high-acuity maternity unit. This role requires strong clinical expertise in fetal monitoring, emergency interventions, and maternal care to ensure safe childbirth experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments during labor and delivery
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions as needed
• Perform fetal heart monitoring and respond to complications swiftly
• Support newborn stabilization and postpartum care
• Utilize Cerner EMR for real-time documentation
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification for advanced life support
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• AWOHNN certification for perinatal care standards
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR
