Job Overview:

We’re seeking a Certified Histotech to support our Pathology team during overnight operations. This role involves detailed tissue preparation tasks and plays a key part in accurate diagnostics and patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Log and accession surgical tissue specimens in Cerner EMR

Collaborate with PA staff to manage tissue blocks

Handle tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining

Ensure readiness of samples for pathology, cytology, and IHC evaluations

Follow SOPs and adhere to laboratory compliance standards

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of histology lab experience

ASCP (HT/HLT) certification required

Completion of formal histotech training or an associate degree in a lab science
