Job Overview:

We are hiring a Histopathology Technician for a night shift contract role in our diagnostic laboratory. The successful candidate will handle the full spectrum of tissue processing tasks, ensuring high-quality slide preparation for critical patient diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

Accession and label pathology specimens using Cerner EMR

Organize and process tissue blocks from Pathologist Assistants

Conduct embedding, microtomy, and staining of tissue slides

Maintain accuracy in pathology, cytology, and IHC sample handling

Comply with all internal and regulatory lab standards

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years in histology or pathology laboratory

Certified by ASCP (HT/HLT)

Formal training or associate degree in a related scientific field
