Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology

Location: Hackensack, NJ
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
On-Call: Every 5th weekend and as needed
Compensation: $60 per hour

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology plays a critical role in delivering evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic radiologic procedures. This position involves individualized patient care planning, assessment, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding treatment plans and patient status.
  • Administer medications safely using advanced bar-scanning technology and electronic documentation.
  • Perform real-time Point-of-Care electronic charting, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and evaluations.
  • Provide patient-centered education to promote understanding of procedures and optimize health outcomes.
  • Support multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care and minimize readmission risks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

Education Requirements:

  • Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active New Jersey RN License or multi-state compact RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
