Position Overview:

Seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide essential therapy services for students within San Juan BOCES. This role focuses on helping students enhance their functional skills to succeed academically and in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat students with a variety of occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' development.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school personnel to integrate therapy into learning environments.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily functioning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to students’ educational planning.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Colorado (CO) OT license.
• Experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse student needs.

Schedule & Commitment:

• Full-time position, offering both 4-day and 5-day schedule options.
• Contract runs from August 4, 2025, for 42 weeks.
• Placement within San Juan BOCES, supporting multiple students across grade levels.
