Job Title: Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Neuro Unit
Location: Client's facilities across GA
Shift: 0700 – 1930 (12-hour shifts)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Neuro Unit for a 13-week contract. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly specialized unit that serves patients recovering from acute neurological conditions, surgeries, and related illnesses.
Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population including neurosurgery, neurology, ENT surgery, and general surgery patients.
Monitor, assess, and manage patients who may be ambulatory or require total care.
Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor for changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and ongoing health needs.
Utilize NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) assessments as required for neurological patients.
Post-operative and acute medical patients
Patients requiring neurological assessment and intervention
Ambulatory patients needing moderate assistance
Bedridden patients requiring full care
Minimum Experience: 2 years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience within a specialty unit
Licensure/Certifications:
Active RN license
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
NIHSS certification – Required
