Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS Registered (Night Shift)
Location: Elmhurst, NY
Shift: Night Shift | 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Schedule: 5 days/week | Rotating weekends & holidays required
Total Hours/Week: 40
Pay Rate: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
A reputable healthcare facility in Elmhurst, NY is seeking a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) for a night shift position. This is a contract opportunity ideal for an experienced ultrasound technologist who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. Flexibility with rotating weekends and holiday coverage is essential.
Perform general diagnostic ultrasound exams in compliance with departmental and professional standards
Prepare and position patients for procedures; explain processes to ensure cooperation and comfort
Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure the acquisition of clear, high-quality diagnostic images
Accurately document findings in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Work closely with radiologists and care team members to ensure timely diagnostic interpretation
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and perform basic equipment maintenance
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – Certification through ARDMS (Required)
Minimum 1 year of general ultrasound experience (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Preferred)
Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent (Required)
