Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
A skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lebanon, PA is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) for a 7-week contract. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned RN who excels in staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and driving high standards of resident-centered care.
Manage day-to-day nursing operations and ensure consistent delivery of quality resident care
Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Maintain readiness for state and federal surveys, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
Uphold infection control practices and quality improvement initiatives
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the clinical team
Serve as a key liaison between medical providers, families, and facility leadership
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
3–5 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
Previous Director of Nursing (DON) experience highly preferred
Deep understanding of long-term care regulations, clinical standards, and nursing operations
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Proven ability to manage and motivate clinical teams in a collaborative and patient-focused environment
