Job Title: Cardiovascular Sonographer

Duration: 13 weeks of contract (extendable)

Shift: 08 hrs/ day & 40 hrs./week (Day shift) M-F

Pay: $65/hour on W2

Special notes:

Float required in between sites at Ithaca Mall and Cortland. Must have transportation to be able to commute to Ithaca Mall and Cortland both only 25 minutes away from one another. Mileage is billed when asked to commute.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluated and analyzed all data for changes in cardiac rhythm, patient’s condition, and patient’s comfort level during Stress Echocardiograms
• Apprised Cardiologists of changes in patient’s condition and responses
• Responsible for obtaining patient history at time of exam – height, weight, blood pressure, and cardiac surgeries performed on patient
• Perform setup for patients including patient transfer, data entry and setup of electrodes
• Observed stress echoes including exercise and pharmacological stress tests
• Maintain sanitary condition of the echo labs
• Ensured all echo labs stocked with gel, linens, electrodes and disinfecting wipes for equipment
• Ensured positive and informative patient experience
