Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – Breast Imaging

Location: North Bergen, NJ

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $52 per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with a specialization in breast imaging to join our diagnostic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures, focusing on breast exams and supporting image-guided procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and breast-focused ultrasound exams in accordance with department protocols
• Assist physicians with breast biopsies and complex ultrasound procedures
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure image quality and accurate documentation
• Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to procedures
• Use hospital systems such as EPIC and Tele Tracking for patient workflow
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper inventory of equipment and supplies
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed (occasional), with no weekend or holiday shifts required
• Support students and staff with ultrasound training when necessary

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program
• Minimum of 2 years of Allied Health/College education
• RDMS certification required
• CPR certified
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and diagnostic protocols
• Familiar with infection control, safety procedures, and patient-centered care

Preferred Experience:

• At least 1 year of hands-on ultrasound experience, specifically in breast imaging
