Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Specialist – Network Engineering to join a high-impact cloud migration initiative. This role involves the modernization of enterprise-level network infrastructure, focusing on SDN/SDA technologies and transitioning legacy on-premise systems to cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to lead complex networking initiatives that support critical financial platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, deployment, and support of cloud-based and hybrid network environments.

  • Ensure secure, resilient connectivity for key investment platforms such as Aladdin, Charles River, Bloomberg, and State Street Bank.

  • Deliver expert-level support for Level III network issues, including root cause analysis and incident resolution.

  • Manage advanced networking technologies, including SDN, SDA, SD-WAN, and NFV.

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot:

    • Cisco ISE, DNAC, FTDs

    • Firewalls, client and site-to-site VPNs

    • F5 Load Balancers, Infoblox, Access Control Servers

    • Wireless networks, Gigamon switches

    • Monitoring systems such as SolarWinds and Cacti

  • Produce detailed documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration logs.

  • Participate in structured knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise-level network architecture and support.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong background in SDN, SDA, and Cisco ISE

  • Proficiency with core networking protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPNs

  • Expertise in network security, firewall administration, and VPN configuration

  • Experience with load balancing (F5), Infoblox, Gigamon, and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Cacti

Certifications (minimum one of the following):

  • Cisco: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or CCDE

  • Others accepted: PCNSE, NSE9, JNCDA, JNCDS-DC
