Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – CT
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Pay Rate: $78 – $80/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shifts: Rotating Days | Primarily 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend & rotating holidays required

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to perform high-quality imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CT and general radiographic exams, operate equipment safely, and deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and general X-ray exams in accordance with physician orders and diagnostic protocols.

  • Operate CT scanners, radiographic equipment, and mobile imaging units.

  • Prepare and position patients for optimal imaging while ensuring safety and comfort.

  • Administer or assist with administration of contrast media, as trained and approved.

  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring operational readiness.

  • Comply with ALARA principles and all radiation protection protocols.

  • Evaluate images for quality, completeness, and diagnostic utility.

  • Utilize PACS systems effectively for image processing, review, and storage.

  • Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately in the system.

  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals during procedures.

  • Adhere to infection control, patient confidentiality, and hospital safety standards.

  • Participate in continuing education and maintain current certifications and licensure.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT) required.

  • Valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License.

  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

  • Proficiency in CT imaging techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent CT and X-ray experience preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to schedule changes including weekends and holidays.
