Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Location: Houston, TX 77074

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Duration: 13-week contract

Compensation: $50 - 60 an hour (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join in Houston, Texas, for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality mammographic procedures in a busy outpatient setting, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screening and diagnostic mammograms using digital imaging equipment.
• Accurately position patients and follow radiologist instructions for optimal imaging.
• Ensure quality control measures and compliance with ACR, MQSA, and FDA regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and assist in patient education.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and ensure routine maintenance procedures are followed.

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of experience in mammography.
• ARRT (R) and (M) certifications required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of current mammography technologies.
• Excellent communication, organization, and patient care skills.
