Position Title: Respiratory Therapist – Neonatal/Pediatric
Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Type: 13-Week Assignment
Pay Rate:

• Traveler: $57/hr
• Local: $48.20/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to support neonatal and pediatric patients in NICU/PICU settings. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to provide critical respiratory care to some of the most vulnerable patient populations in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy to neonates and pediatric patients in intensive care
• Administer and monitor CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen therapy, and high-frequency ventilation
• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists
• Participate in emergency resuscitation efforts as needed
• Accurately document care plans, interventions, and patient responses

Requirements:

• Active New York State Respiratory Therapist license/registration
• Associate’s degree (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy
• Minimum 2 years of experience in neonatal or pediatric respiratory care
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications preferred
• Familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment and ventilation protocols
