Job Title: Field Operations Manager (Specialist III)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11220
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead and oversee field-based technical operations, including IT, telecom, and infrastructure support activities. This individual will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing personnel, ensuring operational readiness, and supporting high-impact deployments across diverse and dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and execution of technical field operations, including deployment, setup, maintenance, and teardown.

  • Manage and mentor a team of field engineers and technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define priorities and establish standard operating procedures aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Maintain operational readiness of mobile units and field equipment.

  • Monitor field performance, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous process improvements.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of field activities, asset inventory, and incident reports.

  • Uphold safety, compliance, and risk management standards in all operational environments.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years of professional experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure support.

  • Demonstrated leadership in high-stakes or unconventional settings (e.g., emergency deployments, construction zones, remote locations).

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, telecom systems, mobile communications, or public safety technologies.

  • Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.

  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with a mission-focused mindset.

  • Valid driver’s license with a willingness to travel as required.
