Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic

Duration: 13 Weeks contract (Local or Travel Accepted)

Location:  Bronx, NY

Work Location:- Full-time, 40 hours/week | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Weekends Required

Requirement: RN license, CPEP exp required

Pay:

Travel: $2,580 Weekly Rate for Traveller more than 50 miles.

Local: $2160 Weekly Rate for Local within 50 miles.

Responsibilities:

• Assist interventional radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging and angiographic equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and explanation.
• Administer and monitor contrast dye under the direction of a radiologist.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide immediate care if necessary.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Document procedural details and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid NYSDOH license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (can be obtained post-offer).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced ARRT certification in at least one of the following:
• ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiography
• ARRT (CV) – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography
• ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiography
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating angiographic equipment and performing procedures such as balloon angioplasty and stenting.
