Compensation:

• Taxable Rate: $30/hour (equivalent to $1,080/week)
• Weekly Stipend: $1,561/week
• Total Weekly Compensation: $2,641/week
• Blended Hourly Rate: $73.36/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing. This contract opportunity is based in Hyannis, MA, with potential assignments in Falmouth, Chatham, or Plymouth. Ideal candidates will thrive in a dynamic hospital setting, providing patient-centered care to diverse adult and geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients in med/surg and telemetry units
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and EKGs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and perform wound care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
• Assist physicians during rounds and bedside procedures
• Uphold all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Communicate clearly and effectively during shift changes using SBAR or similar protocols

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts or a Compact State – Required
• BLS and ACLS certifications – Required
• 1–2 years of recent experience in a Med/Surg-Telemetry setting – Required
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and hospital EHR systems
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
• Flexible and motivated to adapt to new clinical environments
