Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Belmont, NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 12-hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
A hospital-based imaging department is seeking an experienced and credentialed Ultrasound Technologist (RVT Certified) for a night shift travel assignment. The department includes multiple procedure rooms and supports over a dozen radiologists, offering a wide range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services.
Perform general ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
Proficient in ruling out DVTs and ectopic pregnancies
Conduct specialized scans such as neonatal head, prostate, and breast ultrasound (as applicable)
Assist in interventional procedures including thyroid/liver biopsies and drain placements
Operate Siemens, Philips, and GE (or equivalent) ultrasound machines
Work collaboratively with a team of radiologists and sonographers
Maintain accurate documentation and deliver high-quality diagnostic images
Float between nearby facilities as required
ARDMS Certification Required with AB, OB/GYN, and RVT credentials
Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based experience
Proficient in a broad range of ultrasound procedures including general, vascular, and OB/GYN
Experience using Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound systems
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Scrubs required in Black or Teal, with optional white lab coat
