Position: Radiologic Technologist – MRI
Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift: Evening (5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift)
Local Candidates: $85/hour
Travel Candidates: $100/hour
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist – MRI to perform radiographic and MRI imaging procedures in a clinical environment. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of radiologists to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the process.
Perform MRI and radiologic procedures as prescribed by referring physicians and radiologists
Welcome and educate patients regarding the imaging process
Accurately position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal image quality
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report technical issues as needed
Adhere to radiation safety and protection guidelines to minimize exposure risks
Document procedures and patient data accurately in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and protocols
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Valid New York State license and registration as a Radiologic Technologist
Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI or CT imaging
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
