Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tier I Tech Support Specialist / IT Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract with the potential for full-time conversion. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with a strong customer service orientation and a hands-on approach to IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support for desktop applications and hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Set up and dismantle computer equipment, including PCs and presentation systems.
Utilize a ticketing system to log, update, and manage support requests in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure user satisfaction.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and communicate effectively with users at all levels across the organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT support or help desk experience.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with Windows 10 operating systems.
Experience with Avaya phone systems is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
