Shift: Days, Evenings, Nights, or Rotating (as needed by facility)
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dynamic healthcare team in the Woodsville, NH area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders across a variety of settings including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy as prescribed
Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP)
Respond to emergency situations including code blues and rapid response calls
Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory status and document treatment responses
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans
Provide patient and family education on respiratory treatments and equipment use
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Qualifications:
Licensure: Current New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner License
Certification:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC
BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
ACLS and PALS – preferred
Experience: Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred (new grads considered)
Familiarity with hospital-based electronic medical records (e.g., Epic, Meditech) is a plus
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills
