Work Hours: 08:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM | 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Required Credentials:
Active and valid RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join an outpatient/ambulatory surgery team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-focused care throughout the surgical experience while working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe and empathetic nursing care in the ambulatory surgery setting
Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately
Collaborate with surgical teams, physicians, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document all patient care activities accurately using the EPIC system
Educate patients and families on procedures, post-operative care, and discharge instructions
Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
Qualifications:
Current RN license in good standing
Prior experience in outpatient or ambulatory surgery settings is preferred
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records is required
Strong clinical judgment and assessment abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Reliability in working assigned shifts consistently
