Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 4 West Inpatient Oncology Unit, a specialized 27-bed unit providing care across the entire oncology continuum—from initial diagnosis to end-of-life care. This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a multidisciplinary care environment that values diversity, collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive nursing care across the cancer care spectrum

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment, recovery, and palliative options

  • Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery

  • Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act

  • Participate in continuous professional learning and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma in Nursing required)

  • Active Ohio RN License or valid Compact State RN License

  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

  • Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse and fast-paced healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Prior experience in oncology nursing or inpatient hospital care
