Seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist with CT and/or MRI experience to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a clinical setting. Candidates must have a valid New York State license/registration and at least one year of experience in CT/MRI.
Perform radiographic examinations as prescribed by physicians and under the direction of radiologists.
Greet and prepare patients for exams; explain procedures clearly and compassionately.
Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Set appropriate exposure factors and practice radiation safety protocols to minimize patient exposure.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptly to the supervisor.
Process and manage images, enter data accurately into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing.
Follow departmental policies, procedures, and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of imaging rooms and equipment.
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Active and valid New York State license/registration in Radiologic Technology.
Minimum of 2 year of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist with exposure to CT and/or MRI modalities.
