Job title: Registered Nurse – ICU
Location: Cooperstown, NY
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hour
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join a 14-bed intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be comfortable managing patients with complex medical needs, including:

• Cardiac conditions (e.g., heart failure, arrhythmias)
• Respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation or advanced oxygen therapy
• Sepsis or multi-organ failure
• Post-operative recovery from high-risk surgical procedures

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous monitoring and management of critically ill patients
• Administer critical medications and interventions
• Perform and manage arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols

Patient Ratio: 1:2

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New York)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience
