We are seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide strategic leadership and oversight for nursing services. The CNO will be responsible for enhancing patient care quality, supervising nursing staff performance, and ensuring regulatory and safety standards are met. This role involves collaboration with nurse managers and executive teams to implement high-quality clinical practices and operational improvements.
Plan and develop nursing programs aimed at improving patient care and employee performance
Monitor and evaluate nursing performance metrics and outcomes
Conduct unit assessments with nurse managers; identify areas for improvement and assist with implementing corrective actions
Develop and maintain systems for recording medication errors and counseling sessions
Provide strategic direction and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Lead, mentor, and manage nursing leadership teams
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in patient care
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of nursing experience
At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Education:
RN License (active and verified through primary source) – Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration – Preferred
