Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Dialysis

Location: Neptune, NJ

Shift:

  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Setting: Outpatient Hemodialysis

Compensation: $2200 - $2800 Weekly (Negotiable depending on experience)

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating and managing patient care in an outpatient hemodialysis setting. This includes supporting physicians, planning and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting care based on clinical priorities and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and collaborate with physicians to manage care.
  • Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care based on ongoing assessments.
  • Prioritize patient needs through comprehensive assessment and clinical judgment.
  • Initiate care based on patient condition, physician diagnosis, and functional health patterns.
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as needed.
  • Provide patient-centered care using evidence-based practices.
  • Manage the full scope of patient care and advocate for best practices in dialysis treatment.
  • Document care accurately and thoroughly, reflecting patient acuity and clinical decisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in acute dialysis.
  • Preferred: Telemetry experience.
  • Experience using Fresenius T dialysis machines and portable reverse osmosis (RO) units.
  • Must have experience in outpatient dialysis.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active New Jersey RN license or multi-state compact RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
