Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Neptune, NJ 07753
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $20 – $21 per hour
Prepare exam and treatment rooms, including necessary supplies and instruments.
Assist patients during physician visits and examinations.
Record patients' vital signs accurately in medical charts.
Operate and maintain special medical equipment properly.
Perform diagnostic tests including EKG, PFT, audiometry, and Titmus testing after training and evaluation.
Conduct UDS, BAT, phlebotomy, and other lab tests following competency validation.
Maintain and organize patient records and reports as directed.
Support billing and collection processes when needed.
Utilize office software for administrative and clinical documentation.
Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Physically capable of lifting at least 5 lbs., pushing/pulling 10 lbs., and standing for at least 6 hours per day.
Deliver patient care tailored to individual needs based on age, culture, language, and other relevant factors, including communication with caregivers at an appropriate level.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant.
Active Medical Assistant certification required.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
