Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $85 – $95/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: Evening Shift (5 shifts/week, 8 hours/shift)
Job Summary:
A leading healthcare facility in Syracuse, NY is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist – CT for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in CT or MRI, with a preference for those familiar with Canon/Toshiba CT systems. This position involves delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic CT imaging examinations under radiologist supervision
Prepare and position patients appropriately, explaining procedures clearly and empathetically
Operate CT equipment efficiently and report malfunctions or issues
Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and exposure guidelines
Accurately document imaging data in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Follow departmental protocols and standards for diagnostic quality and safety
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to support clinical needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Education: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Licensure: Active New York State license and registration as a Radiologic Technologist
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in CT or MRI
Familiarity with Canon/Toshiba CT systems preferred
Must successfully pass a pre-employment health screening
Strong technical skills with a commitment to patient care and safety
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
