Location: Flushing, NY 11355
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (includes a 45-minute break)
Department: Outpatient Medical Group – Downtown Flushing
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Seeking a qualified and reliable Medical Assistant for a full-time, 13-week outpatient clinic assignment. The MA will provide clinical and administrative support to medical staff and patients, ensuring efficient patient flow and quality care delivery. Bilingual candidates who speak Mandarin or Cantonese are highly preferred.
Assist with patient intake, including vital signs and medical history
Support providers during examinations and minor procedures
Perform clerical tasks such as appointment scheduling, documentation, and EMR data entry
Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical cleanliness and readiness
Administer injections, immunizations, or specimen collection as directed
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, ensuring a professional and respectful environment
Follow all clinic protocols and patient safety guidelines
High school diploma or GED – Required
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program – Required
Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA, AMT-RMA) – Preferred
Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese – Highly Preferred
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience – Preferred
